If you’re a mom, you probably already have a ton of baby products around the house. Did you know that you can use those same baby products as beauty products for yourself? • Baby powder is perfect for refreshing second day hair and adding volume to your ‘do. I started using this little trick after I read about it on a beauty forum (don’t worry- it doesn’t turn dark hair white). All you have to do is pour a little bit of powder into you hands and then rub it in to your roots…works wonders! Turns out it’s a beauty secret celebrities like Angelina Jolie use to add volume to their hair!

• We all know how useful baby wipes can be for cleaning up little tushies and sticky fingers, but did you know baby wipes work great as a makeup remover? You can also use baby wipes to quickly freshen up after a workout or on a hot day. My all time favorite use for baby wipes though is that they instantly erase deodorant stains off your clothes!

• Baby oil is a product that I will keep around the house long after my kids are grown. It works great as a skin moisturizer, make-up remover, massage oil and in place of shaving cream in the shower. You can also use it to help loosen tight rings as well as remove paint off skin and gum out of hair. Also, a few drops of baby oil can go a long way if you have frizzy hair. Be sure to only use it around the ends of your hair though, putting it on your roots can make your hair look oily.

• Who knew you could use diaper cream as a beauty product… I certainly didn’t. Turns out the zinc oxide and aloe found in diaper cream can soothe dry chapped skin caused by winter weather.
